Dianne Weston
Executive Director
"I believe that divine intervention led me to a career in serving seniors. My life was blessed with an outpouring of support and encouragement when I experienced the challenge of a cancer diagnosis. Prayers spoken on my behalf brought me a wonderful sense of peace, healing, and well-being-it was a life altering event! Afterwards, I felt led by God to leave my career in pharmacy to serve seniors. Little did I know, I would discover a passionate pursuit that allowed me to utilize my medical training, develop new skills, to challenge me daily, and to allow opportunities to love and care for seniors. I continue to be amazed by God’s divine wisdom and the path that led me to The Oaks."

Horizons Program Director
"Enhancing the wellbeing of older adults is my passion in life, and I am very thankful to be able to work with such great individuals. I believe a smile, a hug and a listening ear can go a long way. I was blessed with supportive and loving grandparents who visited Nursing and Assisted Living homes weekly for twenty years. I plan on honoring them each day by treating every resident like I would my own grandparents and my own family."
Tiffani Sweazey

"When you are a nurse you know that every day you will touch a life or a life will touch yours" - author unknown. This is my passion and what guided me to such a rewarding career in Assisted Living.
Andrew Greeson
Community Relations Director
“My love for older adults stems from having two sets of grandparents that are very special to me. As I grew older, I also had many opportunities to spend time with seniors through volunteering at senior living communities and mowing grass for those who were unable in my neighborhood. I have been blessed with many great relationships and memories through these experiences. Further, I am very thankful for my experience and education in the field of aging and continue to look forward to serving those that are living here at the Oaks.”
Rita Carter
Resident Care Coordinator
"I have been part of the Oaks Family for 10 years because of two reasons; the first is the owner, Alex. He is very Passionate about the elderly and is a very loving and giving person. Second, a verse from the Bible, Honor thy Mother and Father, by honoring the Residents I am honoring my own loving parents."
Terri Stanley
Activities Director
"I watched my mother and father care for their parents with unending devotion, patience and love, and I looked forward to caring for my parents in the same way. Unfortunately, they died before I could assume that role. In a way, I am honoring them by sharing my love and devoting my heart to the parents of others."
Mike Lamar
Regional Food Services Director
"From the age of fifteen, while managing a small family owned diner, to corporate restaurants, to 5-star country clubs, I realized, I had developed a tremendous joy in cooking and serving people. It is truly amazing to see the smile that a great meal can put on someone's face. After graduating from college, with a psychology degree, I worked in a hospital setting, seeing many elderly patients passing through the later stages in life, and saw first hand how they were not given the respect they deserved. I learned that the elders of society are the people to look up to, to respect, and to care for. These are the people that pass down wisdom from generation to generation.
It was after this realization I decided to put aside my career in psychology and get back to my cooking roots. Only this time, it would be to provide a service to our elders that should be elevated and respected. I now devote all the knowledge I have aquired over fifteen years as a chef, to bring smiles to faces of the reisents I serve on a daily basis. This passion especially hit home about five years ago, when a family member was diagnosed with dementia...hoping he will receive the same loving care and service The Salabarria's provide daily."
Frankie Chastain
Maintenance Director
"It never crossed my mind that accepting a job closer to home would turn into a career. In 1996 I accepted a job as a security officer in an Independent Living Community where I worked for three years. I realized a new found love, compassion and respect for our senior generation. In 2000 I made the transition to Assisted Living as the Maintenance Director, which was more suitable to my background. So, for the past fifteen plus years, I have enjoyed working with seniors...knowing that what I do each day has a positive impact on their wellbeing and comfort."
Patricia Vaughn
Horizons Wellness Director
"I became a nurse 21 years ago because I wanted to help people. I was led to work with the elderly through time spent with my grandparents. Our elderly are sometimes forgotten by the rest of the world due to their failing memory, or loss of physical ability to care for themselves. This is a time they should be lifted up and honored for all they have done in their lives, and for all they still have to offer. My grandparents are both gone now, but they live on in my memories and how they touched my life and the lives of others. They taught me compassion, understanding and a geniune respect formy elders. I strive to demonstrate these traits every day in my career as a nurse and my life. I have worked in Geriatrics most of my nursing career, and have been touched by every resident I have have ever cared for.
I feel here, at The Oaks, I can make a difference and bring joy and happieness to improve the quality of life of our residents. I am thankful every day that God led me to The Oaks, and has blessed me with such wonderul residents, families and staff to work with, learn and grow with."
