Meet the Staff at Addington Place of Dublin
The Oaks Senior Living communities are staffed with professionally trained caregivers, selected for their knowledge, compassion and understanding of residents’ needs.
Diane Clements Executive Director
I was born in Florida and moved to Georgia when I was young. I always say I have a Georgia accent, with a Florida heart. I am married and blessed with a beautiful curly headed little girl.
I started off working in the hotel industry as a Night Auditor, while going to college during the day. Back then, I just knew I was destined to become a teacher. After receiving my A.A in Early Childhood Education, I learned that God always leads you in the right path even if it isn’t the path you were thinking.
I was promoted throughout and became a General Manager while still going through college for a different focus, Business Management in Accounting. I was working at a Hotel in Pooler and decided to apply for a position here at Addington Place of Dublin. My eyes were instantly opened to the Senior Care Industry, and I immediately fell in love. It is my family.
Caitlin Collins Community Relations Director
I moved to Laurens County in my early years and this has been home to me ever since. Dublin has a very special place in my heart and I am very active throughout the community. I attended Middle Georgia State University pursuing Business Management. I worked in banking from 2014 to 2017 and with State Farm in 2017 and 2018. I joined Addington Place of Dublin in 2018 as the Business Office Manager. Being around seniors really brings joy and purpose to my life. God really blessed me with this wonderful opportunity to spend my time doing what I love. I look at everyday as a blessing and new adventure. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors and loving on my dogs.
Renee Miller, LPN Wellness Director
Born and Raised in Dublin. Originally a single parent she wanted more… Renee applied for the Nursing program through JTPA (Job Training Program Association) and was given a full Scholarship. She began her Nursing career in 1988 with Internal Medicine at Fairview Park Hospital. In 1993 she worked with Middle Georgia Surgical Associates and from 1995-2010 she was with Internal Medicine in Dublin and as a On Call nurse with Serenity Hospice. Renee found her calling as a LPN in 2012 with Addington Place of Dublin and was promoted to Wellness Director in 2018.
“I am married and share eight children with my Husband Eddie. We absolutely love family. In addition to our children, we have 7 grandchildren and two Boston Terriers (who think they are human). My passion is reading and spending time with my family. I have always had a love for the elderly even before I began my nursing career in 1988. Addington Place is my home away from home.”
Adrian Thomas, CDP Horizons Director
I was born in Augusta, Ga, raised in Washington County and grew up the oldest of 6 children. I married my husband, Brandon Thomas, in 2012, and we are blessed with 3 daughters. My first experience caring for seniors with dementia was in 2002, as CNA at a Nursing Home in Gibson, Ga. Later, I moved to Dublin, Ga, and I worked as a Med Tech and Supervisor at an assisted living for 5 years. In 2009, I was promoted to Memory Care Coordinator. Now, as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Horizons Lifestyle Director at Addington Place of Dublin, I truly love what I do, working with senior adults who have dementia.
Elaine Avery Lifestyles Director
I joined the team at Addington Place of Dublin, as the Assisted Living Lifestyle Director in January 2015, and since have tried to make it “a party every day” for our residents. I am the youngest of three children, and grew up about 20 miles from Dublin. I have many passions which include crafts, painting, gardening, and acting in the Dublin Mainstreet Players. I am married to Hugh Avery. We live in the country with our five amazing dogs who we love dearly! We are very active in our community and church, and love entertaining friends and family.
Brandon Thomas Food Services Director
I was born and raised in Laurens County, Georgia. I graduated high school in 2007, and soon after went to college, where I majored in mathematics. I had full intentions of becoming a middle grade math teacher, but after spending time in the class room, I realized it was not my passion. From there, I decided to find a part time job until I could decide what to do next, and shortly after took a position at Addington Place of Dublin. Long story short—I fell in love and I’ve been here ever since. Senior adults require special hearts to attend to their special hearts. My daily goal is to make imprints on the hearts of our seniors.
David Guilliams Maintenance Director
I worked in building construction for many years at WestRock paper mill in Coshocton, Ohio. I choose to go back to school at Oconee Fall Line Technical College, where I graduated In Heating and Air Technology. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and farming. I recently started working at Addington Place of Dublin as the community Maintenance Director, and I look forward to serving senior adults throughout the next chapter of my life.
