Renovations to Our Communities in Conyers and Gainesville, GA

On July 26, 2021 Oaks Senior Living was given the opportunity to acquire management of 26 communities all over Georgia and South Carolina. As we have just passed the one-year anniversary of acquiring these communities and beginning our relationship with their staff and residents, we want to showcase the ways we have enhanced the resident experience.

On July 26, 2021 Oaks Senior Living was given the opportunity to acquire management of 26 communities all over Georgia and South Carolina. As managers, we are entrusted to operate each community in a manner that guarantees the residents are cared for at the highest level. As we have just passed the one-year anniversary of acquiring these communities and beginning our relationship with their staff and residents, we want to showcase the ways we have enhanced the resident experience.

There are many factors that are incorporated into making an Oaks Senior Living community a desirable and life-giving home for our residents. From resident care to staff member development, all elements play an important role in creating the right culture for your loved one. All factors have been considered and are being optimized in order to elevate these 26 new communities. However, this week’s blog will focus on the renovations done to two specific communities; Oaks at Conyers and Lakes at Gainesville Assisted Living.

For both communities’ structural renovations, equipment updates, décor improvements, etc. were carried out in order to place the “Oaks touch” on each community. In addition to upgrading the community building, the goal was to create an environment that both residents could enjoy, and staff could efficiently and effectively operate in their roles. These projects were overseen by Chief Development Officer, Douglas Shook. Below is an exhaustive list of the work done to each community.

These are just two small examples within a large enhancement initiative we have enacted for all 26 communities over the course of 12 months. By no means are we completely done upgrading, as there are always improvements to be made, however we are proud to share the ways that we have already improved the communities environments.
