Throughout each of our Oaks Senior Living communities, we select compassionate caregivers and team members who are knowledgeable and understand the needs of residents. As a family-operated entity, Oaks at Aiken creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for all of the individuals who stay with us through our team members. Our community, as well as Oaks Senior Living as a whole, holds our caregivers to a high standard, ensuring a positive, supportive senior living experience for residents and their families.

Bryan Rushton
Executive Director
Bryan started his healthcare career as a Director of Operations and Hospice liaison for Agape Hospice in Aiken, South Carolina. After three years with Agape Hospice, he transitioned into a long tenure at Pruitt Health Hospice as an administrator prior to working in home care for Help at Home. For the past two years, Bryan has held the role of Executive Director for Oaks at Evans, leading the community’s management team in organizing operational efficiency while providing quality care programs for their residents.
One of Bryan’s greatest joys is impacting the lives of residents and families that he has the opportunity to serve. He prides himself on creating a home like atmosphere in the communities he leads and plans on implementing strategic operational strategies that will help each and every resident thrive. Whiles assisting sales and his team in their professional growth, Bryan seeks to help develop the premier senior living community in Aiken.

Sarah Denero
Community Relations Director
Sarah Denero is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. Since graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design, she has claimed the south as her home. Living in Atlanta for 25 years, she held various marketing positions with companies such as InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and DISH Network. She also volunteered with ‘Hands on USA; Steubenville- Atlanta Youth Conferences; and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘Team in Training’.
In a leap of faith, she transitioned to the senior living industry and has never looked back. Working in senior living combines her marketing experience with her passion for helping families. Sarah often describes this transition, “I spent so much of time volunteering, that I became determined to find a job that would fill my heart and provide a means to live. I am so fortunate to have found that perfect combination in senior living”.
Sarah resides in Cedar Creek with her fur-baby Stella and enjoys spending time with her family playing ‘full-card’ Yahtzee and camping throughout the southeast.
