Meet the Team at Oaks at Grove Park

Throughout each of our Oaks Senior Living communities, we select compassionate caregivers and team members who are knowledgeable and understand the needs of residents. As a family-operated entity, Oaks at Grove Park creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for all of the individuals who stay with us. Our community, as well as Oaks Senior Living, holds our caregivers to a high standard, ensuring a positive, supportive senior living experience for residents and their families.

Jenna Abbott

Executive Director

Jenna Abbott was born and raised in Dawsonville, Georgia and graduated from Auburn University in 2019 with a Master’s in Adult Education. A former student-athlete at Auburn, Jenna grew up in two main places: on the softball field and in senior care. Her father, Jeff, taught her and her brother the importance of working with a team and being a leader. Her mother, Margaret, worked as a Director of Nursing and Jenna treasured the days where she got to shadow her mom so she could visit with the residents. These combined led Jenna to fall in love with the administrative side of senior care.

Jenna began her career as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the skilled nursing setting in 2020. Jumping in headfirst, she understood that the older population is one of the most deserving of quality care and attention. Noting that seniors carry a wealth of knowledge and experience from all walks of life, she ensured that her staff moved about their days with grace and compassion. She views senior care as her passion because of their wisdom and gratitude for the things people may miss in day-to-day life. Jenna believes God called her to serve in this community.

Outside of the Oaks, Jenna spends the majority of her time tending to her Great Dane and coaching travel softball. She also enjoys participating in book clubs and attending just about every Auburn sporting event you can imagine.
