Bryan Rushton

Executive Director

Bryan Rushton was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved around frequently due to the military background of his family. He settled in North Augusta, South Carolina in 1988 and has lived there ever since. Bryan graduated from Augusta University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Business Management.

Bryan started his healthcare career as a Director of Operations and Hospice liaison for Agape Hospice in Aiken, South Carolina. After three years with Agape Hospice, he transitioned into a long tenure at Pruitt Health Hospice as an administrator prior to working in home care for Help at Home. His initial desire to enter the field of senior care began in 2009 after the passing of his mother. “My mother’s time in hospice and eventual passing was not as I envisioned. So, I wanted to make a change and pursue healthcare as my next venture to help make senior’s lives special.”

When Bryan is not serving his residents at Oaks at Evans, he enjoys golfing, watching baseball, attending church, and spending time with his family. “I care deeply for seniors and their journey to live out their lives with love, compassion, dignity, and laughter. I want to make a difference in their lives and help them feel at home.”
