Eric Butler

Executive Director

Eric Butler has over 14 years’ experience as a financial controller and business office manager in the skilled nursing home industry prior to holding the role of Executive Director of Lakes at Gainesville Assisted Living. He is passionate about serving the elderly community and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to his residents.

Eric was raised on a small farm in Indiana with his eight siblings. He grew to love sports, specifically basketball, and went on to play at the college level. Some of his sweetest moments now is getting to share the love he has for basketball with his two sons.

There are many reasons why Eric has a heart for senior care, but at the top of his list is the relationships he builds with residents. “Finding those common threads that lead to conversation and hearing their stories, opens your heart and makes you feel like it’s truly a privilege to work in their home.”
